The day at Hurricane Harbor

We are having our picnic at hurricane harbor. Caden
is telling us about what he is going to do next.

This is our fake smile, I am trying out our new camera.
Caden is going into the water, the blue slides in front

of him in the distance is what he went down many times

by himself.

An evening at the River

This is Caden walking in the river on engineer pass. The river

is moving really fast due to alot of snow melt this season. You

can also imagine how cold this river is..........

He just fell in the water and you can tell he was in

a little bit of shock. His cousin Connor Rice is behind him.

This is another time where he actually fell down in the

cold water and I caught it on film. I could not even

keep my feet in the water for longer than a few seconds, and they

were in it for an hour. Why do kids not mind cold water?

This is the face of a happy boy playing in the Colorado river.

Uncle Keith is helping Caden and Connor across a deep

part. Keith is my brother and he did not last very long in the water.

We really had a great time this evening being with family

and friends, and being surrounded

by God's beautiful creation.

July 4th Parade Lake City

We just got back from the parade and are taking a girl picture!

Here are the kids riding in the wagon in the parade. They

had over 15lbs of candy to throw to the kids, they were out

by the time they got to us, and they were eating most of what

they threw.

More fun in Colorado

Caden and I are standing very close to the edge of this cliff.

The closer the better for him. The water fall behind us is

ClearCreek Falls. One of our favorites.

This is our little friend Caroline putting her feet

in the VERY COLD water. She is sooooooooo cute!

Ashley is holding on to the kids for dear life. On the

opposite side of her is the waterfall and a 200 ft. drop off!

Fun in Colorado

This a 4 by 4 Buck we saw on the side of the road around Lake San Cristobal. He just stared at us like we were in his territory. I was waiting for him to charge us, but he did'nt.
















Caden and Caroline are ready for the ride back to Lake City from Creede. They get their faces painted by a lady at the Craft show. Caden was a Phython and Caroline was a butterfly. Caden said the the phython would eat the butterfly. And this made his friend Caroline laugh!!!
